just purchased a used redline, can anyone give info about it?

discontinued Hoyt budget model with Solo Cams.Last year model was made was 2002, maybe earlier with redline cam system? Solo Cam Hoyts command the lowest re sale value, most Hoyt shooters detest single cam designs. Hoyt adopted hybrid(cam 1/2) systems in 2003 and that was the end of the One Cams glory as the most popular eccentric system from about 1997-2003.

Don't sell a single cam short though. I had a redline cammed bow too. It had a little handshock, but it was actually a pretty accurate bow. Might not have been as fast as todays stuff but it was not a bad bow.

It's still a good bow , just that most Hoyt shooters , me included , never thought much of that single cam design !

Yeah, I owned one with a Versa Cam, a 2000 model ,another One cam eccentric Hoyt offered on that bow and I killed a couple deer and a Hog with it. I never said a one cam isnt capable, they are just the least desired cam type on Hoyts.
