Today was the big day at work .
I had to go see the plant manager ,the company celebrated me being there the last 25 years !I got a big certificate,a desk clock and a choice of over two hundred items (only get just one ). Lucky me,didn't have the heart to tell them ,that it shows how I've wasted my life !
I guess I'm lucky that my three adult children now,all got college degrees so they don't have to work here !
Well another ten and good by salt mines !
I want everyone here to head to the frig and grab a cold one and drink til you ,you know !
Don't know why I shared that with you all,but thanks as anything I hate is someone who talks about their job,it's like kicking a you know what!

The "Salt Mine" is only a paycheck....I have my own that I deal with daily, but I leave it there when I head home. Some of us do the drudgery, but that's okay, because it helps bring happiness to those we love. This is why we have hobbies, like archery, golf, fishing, etc. Yeah, it would be nice to be doing something I really love, but as long as I can pay the bills and have time to play, I'm content. Count the blessings and enjoy the rest of the time outside the mine....Keep 'em in the middle!
