Default What Fletchings????/

Have been using 4" Quikspins on my hunting arrows and they don't seem to be lasting very long, what are others using and how are they with 100gr Broadheads?????Let me know what you think because out heree it's much better for me to order over the net as archery shops are far and few between here!!!Also all the help I got with the Gold Tip 22's paid off Thanks everyone.

Dura Vane Fusions . theyre simular to a Bohning Blazer but have a better mounting base.

Flex Fletch 360's. They fly fantastic and they will last forever till you shred them shooting at the same spot!

2" is high profile just like a Blazer, the 3" is low profile so i guess it has to do with clearance with your rig.

Unless you hunt in inclement weather, feathers IMO, are still best. They weigh much less than vanes, you can beat the snot out of them and they still shoot good. A vane with a rip won't shoot right but a feather missing quills will. You can yank them through a target, or punch holes through them shooting groups. They just don't do great in wet weather. They don't fall apart, but flatten.

what he said......that's pretty much all I use. Although I will use 310 FF once in a while.

Here is a pic I took the other day when I shot these for the 1st time....this was from 32 yds....2 different mechanicals and G5 striker.

I dont think there is vane on the market that cant get great results. I do think some require less maintainence and are more durable then others.
