Any deer down yet?
Our season opened saturday the 1st and i was wondering if anyone killed anything yet. All i saw was a 5 point a doe and an alligator who ate four turtles. That was pretty much the highlight of opening weekend. If anyone has killed anything or does kill anything post pics.

Its been pretty warm in mississippi too. I use swacker broadheads and they work pretty good. In mississippi it is legal to use pods which are some kind of drug that you put behind your broadhead and it is supposed to kill a deer in 6 seconds. I dont use them but my brother does and he sayd they work. If yall kill any bucks please post some pics. I really wanna see what yall are killing in michigan.

First guy with pics!!! Whoo hoo!! Go team 4
Got a doe 10/2, she walked in almost directly below me. I let her walk a little bit past my tree allowing me to place my shot for an exit between her front legs. Arrow entered just to the right of her spine by about 1 1/2" and you can see the exit wound. Suprised I stayed infront of the diaphram/liver but it worked out well, took out the inside of the right lung and the top of the heart on the way through. After the shot she bolted about 25 yards, staggered and fell over... She laid there for about 10 seconds and got up again, ran about another 30 yards and piled up. I was only in the stand an hour Sunday evening, in hindsight, I should have sat the rest of the night rather than getting down and completing my recovery early... I had to be at work early Monday morning so getting her out of the woods and processed was my main concern at the time! Good luck fellas, lets get this meat wagon on the tracks!!

I was hunting over at one of my buddies camps last weekend and a spike stood 15 yards from me perfectly broadside eating acorns. . After about 45 minutes i wanted to shoot it just so i could move a little cause it kept looking right at me.
