new job
I know no one cares that much but I get to start a new job in a couple of weeks. I had to get out of where I am at. New job should be much better though, good job security, bonuses, and maybe o my god.... possible raises. sorry just not used to hearing that word. But I have to start out on 2nd shift so I guess I will be doing alot of morning hunting this season. and luckily enough I will still get to shoot my leagues in the mornings at the club

Good luck in your new job Radar. I too have been where you are now. It can be really frustrating. Sometimes it's just best to move on.

Your going to second shift at the perfect time! assuming you can sleep when you get home at night. You can hunt every day and never use any vacation time
just make sure you have a watch so you know what time to come in out of the woods.

Hey Radar congrats on the new job I hope everything works out good for you. When I first started my job I was on seconds of course they only have two shifts. 12 hour shifts I had no time at all to hunt. I went to work at 6:00pm and got off at 6:00am.

Ya It won't be so bad though I go in at 3:00 p.m. and get off at 1:30 a.m. because they are working 10's. It will be alright though I hope I get to hunt quite a bit. I used to go after work and on the weekends. So I would'nt get to do alot of morning hunting except for Sundays because I was usually working on Saturday mornings. I have high hopes. I actually have my hunting bow on Ebay right now and with that money I am going to setup my Trykon XL to hunt with( kinda knew after I bought it I would want to hunt with it too) Need to get it going if it sells because our club is having a indoor 3d bowhunter league and I have to have two scores in by the end of the month.

There will always be better things , as there will always be worst !
I don't mind living here in Iowa , working as a slave for next to peanuts as a wage earner ( it's not all that bad ) , as I don't seem to know any better anyway !
I still shoot my Hoyt , Martin and Jennings bows and what else do I need besidesc a cornfield to pee in ?
If I don't retire , I can always die !
