ASA speed limits?

Does any body else think that they need to do something new? 280fps is crazy i shot it couple years ago and am going to shoot it again this year. Look at the new bows theyre way over that. I want to get either that new vector turbo or carbon matrix but am worried bout being to fast.

I wouldn't worry to much. I got the hoyt alphaburner 2 years ago and with goldtip x-cutters to most I could get out of them was 280 on the nose. Now thats shooting at 65lbs with a 27" draw length. Not sure what a longer draw length would do or higher poundage. The funny thing was my 7595's GTs shoot the same speed all I have to do is change my arrow rest position and I'm good to go. I'd love to see a higher speed limit but in my case it wouldn't matter. I could go to a lighter field point but I don't think my arrow flight would be as good.

no they don't... it is another aspect of a game. play within the rules. like others have stated it creates a level playing field. speed is not everything.
