Default Recommendations???

Well, I finally settled on a bow, it will be my first so I need some help with the extras. I chose the Drenalin, it just felt the best. Below are some recommendations from the Archery shop I bought my bow from, please give me some input on these items, good, bad or indifferent.

Release: Tru Ball Cyclone
Sight: Viper H500C
Rest: Mathews HD drop-away
STS from AEP
Maxima-Hunter series arrows

I don't have any info on broadheads yet, but I think I'll stick with fixed and not try mechanicals right now. Any info would be great. Thanks.

Nice choice on bows.
Tru Ball makes great releases
Viper is a great sight
I only know of one guy who used the Mathews Drop Away and he had vane clearance issues.
STS is an excellent addition to any bow
CE makes a fantastic arrow just a little high dollar for me.

Good luck and enjoy that new bow, by the way we need pics as soon as possible.

Thanks for the input, and the laughs I got from your posts. Since you've heard some issues regarding the HD rest, what would you recommend?

I'll get some pictures when it's all put together, right now it's bare bones and wouldn't make for an interesting pic. Thanks again.

I have heard very good things about the Trophy Taker rests and I have just put a Ripcord on my XT. I've heard bad things about the TR Dropzone also. But the new big thing I think is the Limb Driver by Vapor Trail Archery. Not sure about the limb driver but alot of people are talking about it. Good luck and yes please we love pics around here.

Well, I made my selections:

Mathew HD fall away rest (I asked about clearance issues and he assured me I won't have a problem. So I got him to agree to take it back if I don't like it.) I went with the Viper H1000 sight and Tru Ball Cyclone release and the Maxima-Hunter arrows. I decided to wait on the STS to see if I need it, plus I was running out of Christmas/Birthday money

It's at the shop being all put together so I'll send a pic soon. Thanks to all for their help and information.
