Can I dissmantle a compound?
Hy everybody!
I'm a newcommer on the forum and allsaw a novice in archery. I purchased a compound on ebay, an I was wondering if there is a posibility to dismatle the thing in order to be able to transport it easily. Can I do it on my own or I need a press, and if the 2nd case, where can I go in San Angelo to do it? |

you need to use a press. Just look in a phone book or google an archery shop in your area. They might even have proper packaging to ship it safely

I question the need to disassemble it to "transport" it. What are you talking about? Are you talking about the seller disassembling it to be cheeper to ship to you or do you have something else in mind? Just about all of them require a press or portable press to take them down. Not something that is practicle on a daily basis. Explain a little more.

I have aquired a compound bow recently, but now I have to dismantle the thing, in order to be able to make it fit in a normal luggage to take back home in Romania. I'm very satisfied by the aquisition, a very nice looking Browning Timberwolf.
Is this operation complex? May I trust a guy from Outdoorsman to do the job without any risks of damaging the bow? |

Take a knife to the string and just watch what happens !
