Hunting contest feeler...
Do we have enough interest this year? Myself or SYNERGY will start a hunting contest thread if there is. Some western states start in Sept so it's just around the corner for them. Mine does'nt start untill mid Oct but I just wanted to throw out a reminder if we want to do it again this season. Would like it if everybody, old and new members, would join in. This is not the official sign in thread, just a heads up. It's gonna be that time, quick.

It's a season long contest. Most work a 5 day workweek or 6. and some can't hunt sundays. So it's a 1 day a week thing for alot of us. Your in, no excusses now.

Ahh... you suck. i should disqualify you on acreage alone.
Are you kidding me? My(not mine but have permisssion) biggest piece is 116 acres and I only have access in bow season to a quarter of that. SG things open up a bit, but wow 3000 acres.
J.C. you are in, like it or not.

I hunted thanksgiving week in NW Maine with alot of acres for 30 years and never killed a deer. TG week is the last week of rifle up there. Most years never even saw a deer in the woods. Saw a few in town at night. Was buck or doe when I started and changed to 1 buck only in the late 70's. Never have drawn a doe permit (not likely to change my odds much). Great to see family over turkeyday though. 3k acres is awsome, but you got to get one in range or it does'nt much matter. I get you, hope your god's country has more deer than mine.
jg-32 and Buckslayer your in. Everybody who wants in is.

I havent heard from Syn, so I'll start the "official" thread tomorrow, ( I want a clear head, so as to be able include everyone who has responded, a little Jim Beam on the brain right now, lol.). You are all included if you responded, plus we'll add others as they come in. Thanks men, should be fun.
PS, I have been in contact with Holy Smokes and he wants in too.
