Starts as soon as your fall 2012 season opens. Mine is mid Oct but I know other guys it's alot sooner. We'll run it through the end of January as several states have an extended winter season.

have you seen the stuff he can shoot? We'll use the western count on all other species than white and black tails and mulies. Those shooting an elk or other montronsities we'll only count one side. This IS a deer contest but we want to include even those without conventional deer.
Teams were drawn from a hat. From here foreward it's ask and your on the next team. It's all for fun, except Holy Smokes is offering a big Ford for the top team.No gas included.

CONGRATS! What we want is that pic, but also included in it, a sign with your screen name and the date on it. I generally end up using the backside of a pizza box and a sharpy. We'll count it but lets go men, it has'nt changed in years. Again congrats on the doe. Can't believe some of you guys can shoot deer still in summer coats.

I ask because in the pic what looks like the hit spot is high lung. How was the blood trail/ And was there any delay in that trail?
I've had a few high lung hits and sometimes there has been. More of a fine mist of blood on both sides than big drops. right on top of it was harder to see it than standing back. My son's second deer was like that. High double lung, but the trail was a mist of small specs on either side more than huge drops. His was with a Snyper 2 blade, both in and out the blades were vertical.

Yea it was a little high it came out in the middle of her lungs on the other side the blood trail was a mist but I heard her crash so I didn't even really track her I just went to where I heard her fall

Hommie? I'm not sure that's an age appropriate term to be used by a senior.
We already got this contest going for this year, but next year DUDE, we over 50 are going against the under 50 punks! You bet!
