Can't use a crossbow here unless you can prove you are unable to use a regular bow. Not legal even in shotgun season here. You have to prove a disability to use one at all. Reverse discrimination? I would like the option in gun season. IMO they do NOT belong in bow season, they are a close range gun.
I can still shoot a regular bow thankfully. I'll revisit a crossbow sometime in the far future if needed.
As far a mathews/mission making one, why not. Not an issue.

I am 65 and had a legitimate reason to use one at age 60#. I took another road and quit hunting. And assuming I can get a Ten Point crossbow free that shows what I think of them in archery seasons.
