Indoor 300
Don't know what it is but I cannot help but want to go shoot indoor 300 every day... My wife would kill me if I tried! Anyway going out on Wed to my club, interested to have others post their scores as a friendly compare. Going for a 285 with 20 X spots. We will see if the bow gods are with me.

Indiana State Indoor IFAA 2010 I missed the shoot off by 3 X's. Had a great time and made a ton of new friends that year. This shoot and the nationals of the NFAA will test your nevers. If you enjoy shooting 300 rounds you may want to try one of thses.

oh don't worry about those guys shoot 300-60x, they got no life besides staring at "X"'s all day long.
Back when I was shooting all the time I averaged 300-55 to 58 X
After most of the year off I grabbed my target bow and other night and struggled through a 300- 49X game.
If I shot a round with my hunting bow I think I would be around 290 to 295, maybe a few more points on a good day.
By the way, IMHO the difference between a 58X game and a 60X game is HUGE!!! It doesn't sound like much but those last two X's haunted me for a few years intil they drove me insane and I ended up hanging the bow up for fear I would throw the bow at the target. Nothin quite like the feeling of rounding the corner on a perfect game only to totally blow it the last 2 round.

Here's what I think !
I don't know why we couldn't have a friendly round here , as all the 300 shooters will need to enter a state sanction shoot , so we can all see what they really do !
We could just do a hunter class !
I'll give it a go !
This photo is me back during my younger days ( year 2000 ) , when I quit shooting a one spot and went to a 5 spot i!

Years ago we had a 300 league here on this site, posted scores every week, a ton of smack talk and a great time.
The good old days

Well I did it on Wed and didn't live up to my own expectations. I wore my glasses which I never do, and it was really hard to adjust to them and felt really uncomfortable. But I could actually see the "x" on the targets, but in no way did it seem to help me in hitting them . Anyway still had fun and still managed to shoot my average with the distraction. Got a tournament coming up that I am debating on entering just for kicks in November. .
