Fail!!!
I got my axx handed to me all weekend long!
I ve been sitting on one corner of the field and watch acouple nice bucks come in the field from the opposite corner each time I ve sat in that stand. So I break out the climber early in the afternoon and sneek up a tree in that end and wouldn't you know it 4 bucks, 2 shooters, came out right under my orginal corner stand.
I did have a couple does and fawns and two small spike under me but it's still to early in the year to start dropping spikes.
How did your hunt go?

looks like a good eater!
Naisty weather heading our way for the weekend, I'll be swinging from the trees dodging rain drops. No sunglasses needed.

Nice deer duane!!
Good luck on his brother.
Smokes- those yotes didn't leave you much. did you eat your ear all at once in a sandwich?
Onemustfall- they must of warmed up on Smoke's doe cause they didn't even leave you a sandwich.

Nice hat rack west-T
Well that does it for my bow season, the orange army invasion starts thursday morning.
grand total for me was two does, no bucks, had quite a few smaller bucks under me that I passed on and one nice shooter came close. I thought, here's my chance he was following the same trial of 4 does about 40 yards behind. he got about 35 yards out and just stopped, stood for a minute, started walking backwards 3 or 4 steps then turned around and went back where he came from.
Close but no cigar.....it was fun.
