A little known fact !
" Yours Truly " is in phase three of deer bowhunting already , as
1 I've thought of going bowhunting deer
2 Did the scouting today
3 Am fully Qualified , passed an archery proficiency test today !
( I can now anterless hunt " Yellowsmoke " and the city of Denison, Ia. until the 27th of January of 2013 looking for a " Mega doe " )
Tomorrow it's put up a stand and maybe score !
Now you know and you are !

This could of happen this morning , but " yours truly " wants a true "Mega doe " not some 130 lb. scrub at 5 yards , as this is Iowa that I live in !
Had that either large yearling or a real small 90lb . bambi ( didn't have any dots on it ) , did have a shooter doe ( about a 150+ lb. ) come in , but didn't get closer than 25 yards and there was way too much brush between me and her !
I clear off a few more shooting lanes , as it is really thick where " yours truly " hunts ! I can shoot in four directions now !
I want to wait for only large does , as it cost me the same at the locker if it's a scrub or a mega doe and common sense plus my pride says shoot only a big one , as there will be more meat for less money !
Things look good as I seen at least 8 + deer this morning !

A little known fact !
I took the afternon off as the locker won't be open tomorrow , because of Thanksgiving Day and it got up to 70 today , way too warm for hanging them critters long and those orange army days are coming !
I may take tomorrow off too , as I got to visit family and let them know that " yours truly " has return to bowhunting and no orange army uniform will I be wearing this year !
I plan to return to bowhunting Friday !
Now you know and you are !

Here's what I think !
That's why I like cold weather , to hang them critters , besides plan A , to take advantage of the orange army chasing them critters to safety which will be right towards my way , which was always a plan that I need to do !
Good things happen to those who wait and my time this season ( ends Jan. 27 , 2013 ) has just started !
Now you know and you are !
