Tuesday night league starts on 12/4... Got in my last pre-score for my handicap last night shot a 281 with 23- X's. Best I have done yet! Hoping that at the end of the 7 weeks I will be the winner of the 50% payback!

Westy , just who in the heck started you into archery anyway ?
I've even tried FINA , but spots is usually done at 20 yards !
The true skilled folks in archery , shoot 300s , scoring that number first with the Xs being the frosting on the cake !

YUP leave it to the Americans to answer the question correct. 20 yards, the standard. But no hating on the Aussie, one watches my child at daycare ... OH and lets post some scores, I am interested in others league scores this helps weed out the talkers from the men (Or ladies)!
Of course we all know I am just a talker!

Talkin's half the fun moose.
It would be nice to get us a smack down league going again, those were always good fun.....if only I was alittle smarter on the computer.
don't worry carpy, we would let you play too......heck we'll even spot you the sharpest pencil in the box

Feel free to join my friends , as " yours truly " will still be gutting out deer through the month of January and no doubt the indoor coach potato shooters will already have their score sheets filled out by February with perfect scores !
We have a great time here !

Carp... I must be truly gifted in your mind... but what you have to realize is that league is on Tuesdays starting at 7pm. I don't know where you are in the USA but it is well after dark in OH by 7pm... I also hope to be gutting deer in Dec. Jan. and even possibly Feb. Although I hope it doesn't take that long for me to take my buck.

Don't let him fool ya moose........we have our suspicion that our own Carpshooter hasn't shot a bow in over 3 years and it has been rumored that he doesn't even own a bow anymore.
Although he has threatin to return to bow hunting and target shooting this year we still have no proof but some old pic (the one in his avator) that looks like it was takin ten to twelve years ago.
I'm just sayin

I'm way too busy hunting and gutting deer to let them fair weather bow hunters , who think they can kill spots because they can do that indoors , bother a true bowhunter like myself !
Now you know and you are !

SO last night was the first night of league... Shot a 284 with 23 X's. Not to bad, other than the fact that the guy next to me shot a 300 with 54 X's. But hey can win them all!! I have several people in my league that work and shoot professionally (America's Best Bowstrings crew). Guess I better keep my ears and eyes open and try to learn a thing or two.

Good first round, look at it this way. at the end of the season the guy next to you will be happy by just improving one or two x's, you on the other hand will improve by leaps and bounds by the end of the season. If your league runs a handy cap you'll beat the tar out of him.
