low light peep sight

What is the best sight out there for low light situations? I heard of the string splitter, predator, and a few others. i just dont know what would be the best to get. Thank You

I just use a g 5 meta peap in 3/16 and can allways see my pins at all leagle shooting hours.........

Hey Hutch the brightness doesn't affect your eyes in the dark????? Looks like a great idea though!!!!!!

I don't own one but Ikes outdoors did a test on them and it seemed to work well.

I like to use a specialty peep where I can change the size without removing the peep from the string. During the summer I use a smaller peep and change to a slightly larger one for hunting.

I don't use a peep. I'd rather one of the alternatives, like Archery Innovations Anchor Sight, or Perry's No Peep, or if you can find one, a Timberline No-Peep. One of my bows just has a couple tied nocks at nose tip level. Just another anchor reference for a hunting bow where low light is the norm rather than the exception. I'll never use a peep again for hunting, just another thing to go wrong IMO. I've tried larger peeps (1/4) and they do allow for alot more vision, but still they can be slightly twisted at go time. I'm more comfortable with one of the alternatives having used them for a while now. I never have to worry if the peep will be square.
If I were strickly a target guy or had a target only bow, I might change my tune a little.

Just looking at it, it looks to be an elongated (oval) peep. May be helpfull if you shoot a real short bow with extreem string angle. I've not seen one first hand nor do I shoot a short bow. So. No first hand experience with it.
