Nice.......Only thing I am shooting any more is my AR's and a MP5

Use to shoot a 50 bmg and a 1919 belt fed....Had a Winchester Stealth 70.. 308 sniper rifle for a while....but with the Price of Ammo...those toys are long gone...

Today the grandson and I are going to sight in a few new scopes. One on my Marlin 308 and one on his. One on my 17 and another on my 243.

I got a Marlin X7 in 243 , need to sight it in someday . What type pof scopes do you got on your rifles ?

Good morning it is a fine Sunday morning.

Had a blast sighting in the BSA 3x9x50 and the BSA Sweet 3x10x50 scopes yesterday.


Was hitting the 1 inch green circle at 200 yards from the prone position, and grouped in a 2 inch circle standing free style.

Poor animals will not stand a chance now.

Morning....up and getting ready for the day....the Sun is shinning and going out for some breakfast....then making our way over to the Home and garden show in town....( looking for new kitchen floors and counter tops) Yikes...and we will catch an early dinner.....

Damn jw , you got alot of power there with having 50 !

I like to mount my scopes as low ass possible without not touching the barrel with the objective lense on my guns !

I have used iron sights about all my life. Never liked a scope but all shots were within 150 yards.

As I am getting older I am having a hard time finding the sights and target at the same time so I need the help.

Another twist to the story is I am blind in the right eye so I need the big 50 in order to quickly find the target through the scope.

Using a cheek bag and a little stuffing I raise the stock of the rifle up to keep my eye and scope level.

First put feet on floor and scratch

Second after scratching go to bathroom and hold toward the hole in the floor.

Now go to kitchen and fill pot with water, did I wash my hands after holding my ?
