Due to massive muscle loss a few years back I've had to back things down (long story). Anyway my target/3D bow is set for 44# shooting a 275 gr arrow. I quit hunting five years ago, but I can now, after a long recovery, draw and shoot 50# with confidence so if I hunted that's what I'd shoot.

My hunting bow is usually in the 60-63lb range.

I'd be willing to bet that the letting down portion of the program isn't much fun.

I use a Diamond Razor strictly for carp and the peak weight is around 45#, I get good penitration at that weight and not many pass throughs on the small carp here at lake Elsinore.
When I was still bowhunting my P.S.E citation serial #194 was set at 60# and yeah I've still got the old beast most the time it sits in its bow case, but every once in awhile I'll drag it out and crank it up just to kill a few carp
