It's time...
to kick some arse!! I think my awesome bow is finally dialed in and ready to go. Permitting the weather is somewhat decent tomorrow, I will be shooting my smackdown scores and hopefully improving. I also got a new release...a TRU ball release and my groups were much tighter with it .

my looks exactly the same but it has the round trigger instead of the diamond one.
Sustainer shoots the same one
Bowman shoots the same one but with a talon head.
imho the best release out there.

Well you should have gotten the one I got Bowman, the Loesch one where you can't even in any way shoot too soon. The grip is a little big for me but I'm really loving it although my scores this week are better but not as good as when I wasnt scoring
I had tried the evolution but didn't like the feel and the safety is opposite of what the Loesch one is. Mine you don't touch until you are anchored and then you let it off and pull. I should have scored today cause my groups were way better, but I did my set on Monday but I'll just put them up and be done with it hehe..
Hope you make it to at least round 3 this time wheels!

its not reallythat it goes off too soon, it seems like i have to pull too hard, and then I feel my form go all out of wack, I have tried to adjust the thing....I think maybe I need to try it some more when I get to feeling better, but I may just trade it to brokenarrow for his assistance in building me a bow press.....

Did you try a lighter spring?
When I had mine, I could shoot 10 ft from the bale with my eyes closed and it worked perfectly. Once I stepped back to 20 and started aiming, I couldn't get the thing to go off at all. It is possible to think you are applying additional pull on the release when all you are really doing is tensing up all your muscles. That release requires robot like shooting form.
You might try the eyes closed thing Bowman. It is awesome when the release does work correctly. I would set the spring tension by shooting with your eyes closed and then when you move back, you will know if it is a sequence issue....
Also remember that you have to pull into your back wall the same every time. I also had trouble with that part....

I seemed to be punching the thing, I would love to set the thing up so all I had to do was tighten my hand more and more.....like start it w/the release at my finger tips and pull it into my palm.......

Try the eyes closed thing. You will be amazed.....
That will also give you confidence that the release is set to go off when you want it to.
The trick is doing the same thing when your mind is on the "X"....
