A pic of our moving target at our shoot. There is a nerf ball in the center. It was a dollar an arrow and everytime you hit the ball you where entered in the 50/50 pot. We gave away 180 bucks on that part.

That is a neat idea. Was it on wheels or a line?

Looks like alot of good archers there. I shot a moving target once back in 1985 it was a 10 pointer he ran 25 yards after the shot and fell over dead. I really like being lucky.

Its an old garage door track. The deer sits on a board with a wheel from the door on each corner. Prop one end up. Pull it back with a rope and let er fly.

Here's a competitor trying his luck with a recurve. There were people lining up to try that old thing. It was a lot of fun.

He's shooting at a target out of the picture, but if you look in the next lane over you can kinda see what the pres of the club, in the red shirt, has set up the egg shoot. Eggs hanging from strings. It was about a 20 yard shot. also buck an arrow with a 50/50 pot. The kids had there seperate pot.

Maybe a little better pic here. We don't have our own property yet. There were cows in here earlier in the summer.

that is some really good shooting! Were all those arrows in the killzone from just one round? Out in Forksville PA they do a running deer shoot as well, the deer is at 30 yards and there are about 75% more misses then kills, if not more. but the deer also moves quickly and there are normally 50+ people shooting at it at once.

We had three people max shooting at a time, usually went at the most five times before pulling arrows. That was enough when it came time to sort out arrows. We only had room for about an 18 yard shot. And the deer was moving at a fast walk I would say. I tried to set it up so enough people could hit it to make it fun. Some people could hit it right away, Then would keep coming back tosee how many times they could hit it in a row. Others had to try a few times.
