Smokes SMOKES BOWMAN........
I have to say that smokes beat me like a red headed alter boy.......
man that preacher man can can sure shoot a bow ya'll..........
I had him by 6 points and we were tied w/26 12's the first day........
Day 2 had a much different result.....
Smokes 542
Bowman 514
I shot a 0 on a misjudged 39 yrd target.......shot it for 29 yrds I think.....
It was a unbeleivable weekend......so much fun.....and the 55 yr old preacher man kept up w/us quite well.....
I think everyone had a great time.....
but I just got in for 6.5 hour driveand I am too tired to post the pics.....
I will post them tomorow night......and boy do I have some real good ones

yeah I know man, I definately wanted to be there it just wasn't in the cards I guess....
So far in the last 10 days:
1. Found out my lab has hip dysplasia in both hips and will require surgery
2. The attic fan stopped working (its basically a huge fan that cools off the house)
3. somehow managed to spend 50.00 (I only wanted to spend 100) more then I planned at Lancaster archery... No clue how but buying built arrows is expensive as hell
4. Destroyed my back window and missed the R100

I'm really disappointed I did not get there.
I made it about 2 hours from home and then my Jeep gauges and rear taillights just decided to turn off, completely.
I finally made it back home Friday after a shop figured out the taillights and fixed that but I still don't have a vehicle since I dropped it off Friday to have the gauges fixed. The airbag light is on, but all the gauges read zero...
Also, Dredly said that I added an extra digit to my phone number and he was right. Geez, I volunteer to be the secretary and I can't even get that right.
The R-100 has the $40 registration fee too, which just pours salt in the wound.
Glad you guys had fun. I'm going to be disappointed for a while about this.

I called and got mine refunded, told her there was a slight issue with a grill and my truck and she refunded the money immediately. My other buddy who was going to meet me there called and said "I'm the guy that was going with the idiot who put a grill through his window" and she refunded his as well.
Excellent service without a doubt.

If they don't I'll ask if they can apply it to one in Central City, IA in August. I was thinking about going to that one anyway, that might just get me the incentive to go.
Thanks for the info,

Speechless!
When the pic's come up you guys can see.
The way they set these targets up not just the targets!
2 shoots:1 shoot the buck in a creek then:2 shoot the apple out of his mouth!
A doe on one shot with a buck horning her in the rear to get up.
An alligator on a lake bank,if your high your in the water!
And a toilet and a bear sitting on it shoot the toilet then the bear.
We were amazed at every target we walked up to.
Very few were just set normal.
Pics are comming!
Plan now for next year you wont be dissapointed!
Heck, maybe next year we'll rent the whole campground!

It was nice to meet you two, Bowman and Smokes. I'm sorry that I couldn't visit camp or shoot with you guys. I had a really good time. I didn't check all the posts. Did you guys tell everybody how we cleaned-up on the prizes? Put me down for a ball target. Sat. I shot 492 on the world course. Sun. was a 476 on the North American. I had 26-X's for the 2-days. That was enough to earn the R-1000 pin with the handicap, but I was 15 minutes late. I just couldn't leave the range without finishing. I'm not in quite the same class as you guys, but wait till next year. I'll have a year and a half of shooting experience till then.
