Default What's your game?

What's your favorite archery game? 3D, spots, field, hunting?

And,

How long?

I started out hunting. I shoot a few 3Ds here and there but I really like shooting spots. Mostly indoors but would like to give field archery a try, not to many field shoots in my neck of the woods.

Been deer hunting with a bow for 29 years. Started out with a recurve for the first few years intil I figured out I might be able to hit something if I had a sight.

I ve only started going to 3d shoots in the last ten years or so to get ready for hunting. Love the shoot, hate the wait.

I just started spot shooting last year with my hunting bow. Purchased my first target bow two months ago. Check book hasn't been in the black sence!

What's your game?

I like all things archery, but if I had to make a choice, 3D would be it.

Hunting. Whitetails and for the past 3 yrs turkey hunting with a bow. I've been bowhunting for over 32 yrs and I am probably more passionate now than in the past with bowhunting. I have almost completely given up hunting with a firearm. I bowhunt during the gun and primitive firearms seasons. I do take a rifle or frontloader out one or two days.

I have been into archery for two years now and I am pretty much hooked on it all. 3D/spots/hunting....I love it all. Maybe after I have been doing it a while longer, I may pick a favorite.

I love the 3D's but I think if I were hunting, that would be my favorite.

Its hunting for me. I started with a recurve in 82 and have been doing it ever since. I have never shot spots or any type of paper targets other than fpr practice. I enjoy 3-D but its all about hunting for me!

Hunting is my passion. But it doesent matter as long as I shoot with friends and family and making new friends. And by the way I have made my farm into bow hunting only.

I think the most fun I had shooting was a poker shoot. 52 cards on the target wall. You take turns and hit the cards you want in your hand. The best hand, obviously, wins. That was a boatload of fun.

During hunting season I cant wait for 3D to start.

But during 3D season I cant wait till its time to Hunt.

I guess its a toss up between the 2

I took up archery somewhere around 1975.

Yeah I guess. I still have not to one this year. Land owner issues affecting the clubs has popped up. I love 3D there is just not enought of it around here anymore.

I'd like to try field once but I have no clue how it works. There is a club around here that kind of 'specializes' in it. I need to find out more.
