Every place and situation is different. There are places I hunt I could not get a 20 yard shot, but if conditions are right I have confidence to take that 50 yard shot. This Mulie was shot at 51 yards. Not much cover in the area I was hunting as you can tell

In wash. there is no gun season if you decide to hunt with archery gear. You have to pick your weapon, rifle, muzzleloader or archery. You only get one deer tag per year also.

Anyone can hit foam at 50yds but when it comes down to nerves and all its a hard job to settle on a live animal at that distance!
