And now for my answer, I met my wonderful fiance on a blind date. Her next door neihbor is a freind of mine. She had broken up w/her boyfreind of 4 years at the time. Her dog had been hit and killed by a car the week before.....can any one say vulnerable. Well any way I called her up on a wed and we went out to dinner the following Sat. Went to really nice place. Had a pretty good meal. Lets just say the conversation was not all that good. ( I picked her up at 5:00 and had home by 6:30) On the way to take her home my car overheats and so I dont want to ask her for water so I go to my freind the neihbors house and now it looks like I am stalker. Standing in his driveway, in plain site from her house. Well low and behold she calls me a week later and says "what? you never gonna call me again " I said what????? I didnt think the date went that well.....two years later and we are making wedding plans.
See there is a happy ending for some.
So see guys just kill the dog and you are in!!!! oh that would be where I was supposed to keep it clean.

Well This might sound strange
Well I was a junior in High School and had just broken up with my girlfriend ( She was crazy as all hell). I was in gym class and she came by the door and had me come over she was still pissed that I broke up with her and she got me mad. The guys and I were playing basketball and I went up for a layup and someone pushed me in the back and I hit the wall.... Which by the way did not help my mood. Now I don't claim to be the smartest guy for what followed, ya know those pads on the wall behind the basket....It was about six inches to the right of where I punched . I got a broken hand out of the deal(doctor called it a poor boxers fracture). So since I could'nt participate in gym anymore so I had to go to study hall. There was a guy in there I knew and this girl that was a grade behind me I had always thought was totally hot and way out of my league was friends with him. So I talked to him everyday and come to find out that she really liked me before the broken hand but I had a girlfriend. I worked with one of her friends and called her one night and to my surprise she said she would go out to a movie and to eat with me . Well that was seven years ago and we will be married for 4yrs this September. And by the way she is still totally hot and way out of my league.

Radar,
Cool story. I've known my wife since we were in 7th grade. I liked her then in 7th-8th grade, hated her in high school. In 10th grade, I almost got the crap beat out of me by 4 guys in high school because of her.
Then guess what happened about the time we were approaching graduation, we became friends. I fixed her up with a guy for prom. Should have asked her myself.
A couple weeks later we started dating. We have been married for, let's see 16 years and have three great kids.

Ok I know I'm not a newbie but will still post.
I met my wife at work. She was having trouble with an ex-boyfriend and I thought I would kinda keep an eye on her because he seemed kinda nuts to me. Well we were walking down the sidewalk one night on lunch break with a friend of hers and her ex came by so her friend went to talk to him. Seems he thought we were dating which we were not. She was just putting up with me bothering her I think. Well after that I thought maybe I would ask her out. We talked for hours about our lives for the first couple of weeks. Then 3 months later I asked her to marry me. Well that was 18 years ago and she is still putting up with me. I am truly a lucky man and she is the love of my life.

I started bartending for my uncle cuz I needed a 'fun' job. I was pretty disgusted with men at the time and was NOT going to date any of those losers that hung out in the bar every night. After I turned down many guys, I met Brent. One month later we were talking wedding plans and two months later we found out we were having a baby We have been married 4 years.

I had a best friend for years.. fixed him up with several women, never worked out.. we hunted together and hung out all the time...cried on each other shoulder, so to speak.. one day we realized that we never could find the perfect mate because it was us that was meant to be together.. Been together for 5 years, married for 2... and couldn't be happier!

I am married for 42 years now and can say it has been a great time with my wife and the kids...now the grandkids are also a great part of my life as well. I had just gotten out of the AF at Stwert afb Newburge NY. I needed a job and got one in Walden NY at Big grocery store as the dairy manager. I met my wife as she was hired for the summer, we went out for several months and each time we just seemed to have a great time. She then went back to college, and lasted about 4 months and then we ran away and got married. I had a big $27 bucks in the bank account then. Now wiat a minute I think that all I still have in the bank now, it seems you do not gain wealth with age. Do have some great kids, a wife that has over the years always supported my needs for that new bow or gun. Did always understand why I have had to make sure each year I had a week or two of vacation saved for that hunting season. Why when I was shooting NFAA I would pick up and take the family with me each sunday to shoot one of several states. We just moved and am in the process of building a new home that will be one road over from my girl and her husband Mike and my grand kids. We are about a month away from moving in. My sone lives in the mid west (Iowa) and we talk almost daily with him and do take a trip to see him and or he comes him once a year.
So as you can see my life has been full. I also now have a small archery pro shop that I got into from just making custom arrows and over the years has gotten bigger. This now keeps me busy so I can still see archers most days...keeps me also out of my wife hair.

Crystal was my boss, just insanely cute with this long hair down to right above her butt and the way she walked... ehh anyway.
Invited her over to watch a movie (not just A movie... THE movie, boondock saints) to decide if I even wanted to persue a relationship. She had me rewind through the cat scene so she could watch it again and laughed the whole time. Knew at that time that she was as sick and twisted as me and also a keeper. Proposed 6 months later and got married on our 1 year "date anniversary"
We celebrated our 2 year anniv and Conner's 1 year birthday at the end of May

Meet my wife because of some friends of mine. We have been together for 17 years and only married for 2 of them. We have a great 11 year old girl. My wife like your spouses is one of the greatest people I know. I would not be the person I am today without her. She like shooting 3-D and wants to go hunting w/ me and watch how it is done. She supports me in any endevor I choose to be envoled with. I couldn't have asked for a better person to spend the rest of my life with. Hope all is well in your lives.
