best rest

like i said in my 1 st post been out of the game for sometime. when i left the drop away rest were not very common you either shot a tm hunter style or a flipper style. now with drop aways all the rage witch is the best. i know its alot of personal pref. but dropaway or tm hunter style. i have a q.a.d. ultra-rest that i had to mod. to fit my hunting bow had to file the upper arm down to keep it from hitting the cable guard. i have plans to buy a bow for 3-d shooting only and am wanting a rest for it. have thought about the nap micro-tune 3000. just want a rugged rest. this time going to get a rest that will fit wtich ever bow i get. not going to go thur that again. PS the bows i'am looking at is the hoyt 38 pro or mathew apex i know both are good bows so what could be the determining factor. i'am leaning towards the 38 pro for the price. not trying to be cheap. do ya;ll think the extra price for the apex is worth it. thanx for anyhelp and thanks for the welcomes to the sites on my 1st post. sorry one last ? for now are the beman 9.3's the same as the easton fatboys had someone tell me they were except for the writing on the shafts. thanx ya'll

The ultra rest, and the ripcord are the 2 top drop aways right now...for hunting anyway (I believe). Because of arrow containment...
I don't know anything about the NAP3000...

For hunting if I were going to use a drop away it would be the Ripcord. I love mine.

For targets the dropaway I would like to try would be the Limbdriver.

what about the diff. in the mathew apex and the hoyt 38 pro any ideals.
