I think I'm gonna use a ground blind this year. I took a spill off a ladder in January and messed my left ankle up pretty bad, multiple surgeries and lots of plates and screws to fix. I'm just now starting to get back to normal.

I'm a little leery of ladders.

I like to spend the month of july and august hunting ground hogs with my bow. By the time the season comes around I either have a lot of confidence, or I have no arrows

It was an old ladder and it actually broke while I was climbing. To quote Chris Farley, "The doctors say I have a little bit of a weight problem"

Got me a platform built on the side of the pole barn.

I try to get up there and fling arrows two or three times a week during the summer. Thats not counting what I am doing with the target bow.

I have a ladder stand in the back yard.....

I shoot just one arrow tipped with a Slick Trick...

Sometimes I'll just sit on the stand for 10 - 15 minutes....then I'll shoot..

Hmmnn........that sounds familiar???
