90% of hunters are fisherman (or sumthing like that) so anyone caught anything big over the summer ? my highlights are a 42" muskie and my friend and i hooked up with a 50lb and 46lb carp u talk about a fun fight took half an hour each fish though

Fish!
I just got back from camping in stanton ( in the mountains)
The KOA has a nice small river or rappid stream beside it.
I caught about 12 to 20 i lost count of small Brook trout on my flyrod with a mayfly and 2lb tipit!
1 was 14inchs long.
I use to fish for big fish ive got 9 citations salt and freshwater.
But now i like the FLY!
What was cool was that the campground was Packed and the people staying there hadnt seen someone through a fly.
My wife sayed people were lineing the bank takin pic's i didnt notice but thats pretty cool!

love to fish for smallies. old pair of shoes, shorts, 6 lb. line on a spining rod, top water plug. in the middle of NEW RIVER. if you get to hot just sat down for a while. thats as good as it gets. but caught most of the big ones in the winter monthes. from a boat, I'M not that tough.
