Kbos-Rollup's
Allright a recipe board!
First take 2 back-straps
Soak over night in 8 parts water 2 parts viniger
Cut into strips the size of your pinkey finger
Take 2 lbs bacon,hardwood smoked
Cut both packs of bacon in half
Roll up 1/2 piece of bacon around each strip of loin
Tooth pick threw it and place all after compleating in a tupperwear bowl
put in zesty italian dressing seal an refigerate overnight.
Next day fire up your grill!
grill on low around 300-350 no higher let bacon cook good around loin!
You can mix it up like a skewer with pinnapple green peppers onion or what ever you like just have a bunch of people around ta eat them.
Feeds atleast 10 people!
Heres some pic's at home grillin and at the R-100 in Greencastle!
Last pic! Me cookin and SMOKES could'nt leavem alone!
And every year at the 3Dshoots reunion if im there,Il be Grillin them Tip's
Be there!

I have a beef tip sliced into strips and set up like Ken's recipe right now on the grill, with onion chunks, green pepper slices and mushroom caps on the skewers... Man, the neighbors must be drooling (or not because they are all retired fogies who never come outside unless a tree comes down from a storm...) because the smell is awsome. I never bacon wrapped anything like that before. On the grill now and i'm getting hungry and the Cubs are on in about an hour. Perfect timing...

I tried chunked up chicken breast like you do your rollups last weekend, but I added some cherry tomatoes and chunked up onion and they were excellent... I need to try the drummies next. I love BBQ drumsticks.

Ive made them with hindquarter but there not quite as good
I read eariler of someone useing beef, i dont think that would be that good
The reason for the bacon is for fat because deer has none its all lean.
and beef has fat.

I tried it again with some sirloin steak I got from a meat cutter buddy of mine and it was excellent. I did 'season' the steak with some meat tenderizer before I marinated them though. Sirloin can get tough sometimes, especially if you over cook it. mine turned out really good though. I'll be doing that again for sure.
This is an excellent general recipe for the grill... I'm loving it for sure.
Thanks again for posting it.
