We've run one R-100. It was a really good experience. We had about 250 shooters (including many families). We are running a R-100 again this year. The guys from Reinhart were great to work with, very helpful and very personable. We were fairly nervous about the layout and operation of the first shoot but once you get through the first shoot the next shoot seems much easier to run because you know what to expect.
The amount of labor involved should depend on the size and layout of your club. Our biggest problem at the first shoot was underestimating the labor required to prep the club grounds for the shoot and set up. This year we are planning on ten guys with five trucks to set up and probably three or four guys to prep. We estimate that it should take us about a day to have everything up and running once the targets arrive. As far as the days of the shoot, the guys from Reinhart handled all of the registration. We had a few guys working the kitchen but the rest of us just shot the course.
Our shoot this year is July 22 & 23 in Pelham New Hampshire.
