well i was gonna get up early and go set out a stand or ground blind, for regular season, but its overcast and windy as a MO FO.......

Don't we all want to kill something real nice??? With a rifle....I think that would be too easy, if you see it you can pretty much shoot it. With your surgery and all I wish ya the best of luck! My .308 is good to about 350 if you need a good rifle! I still need to post some pics of that thing, I keep forgetting!

with my surgery the rifle is my only choice this year, so i will take it however I can get it....

I got mine sighted in to 100, we dont get longer shots around here......

Mine is about 1.5" high at 125 yards. .308 is a good round for deer. What will you be using?

i would also like to get a bear this year.....and the 1 place I am trying to get a stand up is great for bear.......

It's dropping hard after 250, but if I have a shot at a coyote at 300+ you can bet I will take it. At 250 I put the crosshairs on the top of their backs and it's lights out. I would say mabey 3" or so of hold over at 325-350 would be good. I need to start shooting some FMJs the nosler partitions and the power points destroyed the dogs I shot last year.
