Default New 3D shooter

To the 3D experts...
This old man is going try some 3D shoots this year and I need to ask some
stupid questions as to what the guide lines, and classes that are used..

From what I have heard there is the hunter class and I do not know what the
number of sight pins are allowed the the equipment guide lines in that class..

Thanks in advance
John McMahon

If your just starting out? I believe a durable arrow is a priority. I shoot the full metal jackets and love them. Shot a 3dshoot this weekend. I shoot scopes in the winter and had to relearn shooting pins again and using the correct pin! Accidently shot wrong pins acouple of times at this shoot and got some nice wood shots. My arrows pulled out no problem. I shot the bowhunter class and had fun despite a few brain farts during the shot. Seen some carbon arrows laying around and they were the 2piece carbon arrows laying around. The easton full metal jackets are a good all around arrow. I know their are better ones out their but for hunting and just shootin all around hard to beat. Like the ace's also.

RV6::Is what you do is take just what you have to your place that you are going to shoot 3-D and they will tell you what class you will fall into. Or tell us here on A T and some one will tell you what class you will shoot in.

Definitely good shots for a new shooters. They are a bit small though. Keep shooting, and enjoy the present
