Dens228 is on a distinguished road
Default A different kind of chasing

I pulled an all day hunt today and saw a fair amount of deer but only one shooter buck and several does that somehow managed to keep trees and thorn bushes between us.

The best part was the two button bucks. I was set up on a small bench and they were actually walking all around me for quite some time before meandering off in the same direction the does had went. About a half hour later they come sprinting right past my stand tails up. They get to a hillside and stop, looking back.. tails back up and off they go. I look the direction they had been looking and here comes the shooter buck, 8 point that I barely had to time to count as he sprints past in hot pursuit of the little guys. I guess they got too close to the does!
