Forced hot water question.
Lately it seems like I'm hearing alot of air in the basboard radiation, way more than I ever heard before. How/why is it getting in there and how to purge it out? It's an oil fired boiler, and I have town water.

Maybe it's getting too hot and evaporating the water causing a vapor lock???

I had a sludge build up in my furnace. It sounded like the pipes were going to break out of the walls. I called someone to come and clean the whole system. I have not had a problem since I had this done.
