I would have to say Alberta for those giant whitetails. Nothing sounds better than sitting in a stand for 10-12 hrs in 25 deg. below zero temps. Am I sick??

Is there a place on earth that they have mule deer, whitetails, and caribu?
Now that would be heaven. My dream though is a trophy class mule deer. Also would like to spot and stalk it w/the bow if at all possible.

I think 70lb would penetrate an elephant, but I know most guys use like 100lb, or 90lb, and stuff. Not exactly sure what the laws are on it, I know some things in Africa require 90lbs to legally hunt. BUt whatever the law says, I've no doubt that 70lbs would take one down.

Dream hunt, tough call. Some friends went to Africa last July and that sounds really cool. However, I think moose is something I would like to try with a bow.

I seen somewhere on a poll that moose was the hardest animal to bowhunt. Odd huh? You'd think those big boys would be easy. I think whitetail got 3rd, and rabbit 2nd.

lol a rabbit was 2nd on the list for hard animals to bowhunt...... what kind of rabbits were they, lol the ones here run about 15 feet when you spookem, then they stop, almost always giving a shot under 25 yards........ thats prety easy in my book!!!

Moose
I recieved a free hat and dvd from Ross Archery the other day. Thank you very much Andy and Angie. Anyway the dvd had a moose hunt and Andy shot a very aggressive looking moose at about 10 feet yes let me repeat myself 10 FEET. I think I would have heard my mommy calling me and ran all the way home. Truly remarkable animals I have heard that they have very keen sense of smell and hearing but not that great eyesight. Anyhow moose hunting would probably be at the top of my list somewhere. Later guys.

Elk
Last year Outdoor life listed bow hunting elk in New Mexcio as one of the ten toughest hunts in the world. Lots of rough terrain with giant elk. I've talked to two people that have been and both said it was the hardest they have worked in their lives and the best hunt of their lives, and neither killed a animal! I'm saving my pennies and hope sometime in the not to distance future I can get the opportunity to go to New Mexcio.

I love Tred Barta. The hog hunting with a knife is the one I wanted to see more then anything..and missed. Thanks for comfirming it, cause I was begging to think I had just imagined an episode with him doing that. What happened, did he jump on it from a tree? Lol. And did he get a hog?

Every time i think of that episode it makes me sick, he almost cut his guide. Jumping in and flailing at the thing, then turning around and running like a baby. I was kinda being funny about the hero part. Not trying to start anything just thought more people would get my meaning.
