got them up and out already or is it too early? i got two out at the moment. not a lot of movement though. it would help if i knew how to tell military time lol. got another cam on another spot with a couple pics on it but its not digital. same with another cam i set out today.

I usually start puting mine out in July, although I switched to all digital this year so I may put them out earlier, I don't know. I will be saving a ton of money now that I'm not buying and developing all that film. And the digital camera's batteries last ten times as long as my 35 mm cams did.

I'll be putting the one we have out after turkey season..Then around the first of Sept I take it down... by then we know whos who and where they are and were we need to be etc etc etc

What type of camera do you have that the batteries last that long. Or do you mean you will check the camera periodically and then permantly take it down in Sept.

The time on the pic is 8:05 PM.

Mil time is easy, for anything before 1:00PM it is simply that time AM, Example:

0100= 1:00AM
0900= 9:00AM
1000= 10:00AM

etc..

After 1200PM just subtract two from the first set of digits and the second digit is your time PM, example:

1300= 1:00PM (13-2= 1 1)
1600= 4:00PM (16-2=1 4)
2100= 9:00PM (21-2= 1 9)

After 2100 just remember tosubtract 10:

2200= 10:00PM (22-2-10= 10)
2300= 11:00PM (23-2-10= 11)

and then midnight, which is 00:00,

Nuts 30= 12:30 AM

Easy, right?

You just made that confusing. From 1 am to noon is just like regular time. After noon subtract 12 and that is your time for pm. For example 1300 would be 1:00 pm. I just said everything you just said but in three sentences.

Umm, 21-12 is some serious math, holmes. I had to come up with a simpler way. It really is simple if you apply it.

Actually, I didn't think much about it at all, My Drill Instructor said "you will know this, recruit!!" and viola...I knew it...

It is amazing how fast you learn when you know the consequences of failing in front of your DI...

I check it every two weeks..Change the batterys and change the card

yes i was just kidding about the time thing. i usually check mine once a week or so.
