When I was a kid I hated the garden also, it seemed like forced labor to me.

Weed the corn, pick the peas, water the beans, pod the peas, pick the beans, weed the beans aauuhhh it went on all summer long and seem to ruin my summer vacation every year.

Now here I am years later and have a bigger garden than my folks ever thought of having. Can't wait for school to let out so I can have the kids weed the corn, pick the peas, water the beans, pod the peas, pick the beans.
