What about my F.O.C.!!!!

I am shooting Fatboy 400's at 28" with 80 grain glue ins and 2 inch blazers, unibushing and super nock. According to the GT website, my foc is at about 6.79% and if I up it to 100 grain points it will put me over 9%. How much of a factor is this going to be in getting arrows to fly straight. I have a little movement on my arrows, but unsure of foc or if it is my bow or me torquing my bow. I know ideally your foc should be between 8-10 %.

Adding or subtracting anything from your shaft/arrow will weaken or stiffen the spine, worry about that more than the FOC. If you arrows are going in straight at 20 and 40 yrds, and your groups are good, don't worry too much about your FOC. I didn't say not at all, but FOC is more for FITA shooters than anyone else. FOC is one of the last things I worry about, as long as everything else it good. Are you having problems with left and rights?

FOC = Front of Center. It shows what % the balance point of the arrow is from the exact middle. Basically the front of the arrow should be heavier than the back if you want a good flying arrow. Typical hunting arrows are usually 9-12%. Target arrows 7-10%.

I just thought I would break it down....

If "L" is the length of the shaft, and "D" is the distance from the center of the shaft to the center of gravity, then the FOC is 100xD/L.
