Man it's beautiful out - wish I was leaving today. If I didn't have to wait on my daughter to get home tonight I believe I'd head up today myself.

Got here a couple of hours ago...
Nice to be home but I already miss the shoot and you guys too. I had a great time and really loved meeting and hanging out with you guys. I think everyone had a great time and Bass and Bucks was a really good host. Our little 'layout' for camping was close to as good as it could get.
So much for knocking on my head to break the rain jinx though. Man, Friday and Saturday day and Sunday were awsome and then you can see the storm coming in when the group pic was being taken on Saturday evening after the 'feed'. That storm was something but it didn't last long and I believe Slice saved our campfire by covering it with some flat pieces of wood.
The only thing that was a bit annoying was the DJ being too loud and going a bit too late for most folks Sat night. We got up early and we were all on the course both days before the big crowd would slow us down.

Had that in Taiwan once on a business trip. I was not told what it was until after I ate it.
It was good....

More news on that one later.
I spoke to the owner's family last night and it seems that Rinehart does not really understand the magnitude of the Wabash shoot. They had to fight for it this year but used attendance numbers to get it. Good news is that attendance numbers are up from last year by quite a bit.
So, more later on that topic in a separate thread but I offered feedback that might help and I am personally going to send Rinehart USPS mail about what the experience was like.
James and Barbara, the operators of Rinehart, were actually supposed to be there this past weekend but didn't show up.
We'll need to lobby Rinehart to get that shoot back there again next year. That place blows AWAY the Central City shoot. They should drop that shoot like a rotten apple and stick with Wabash.
Sending in positive feedback to Rinehart would likely help. B&B is doing their due diligence on it and if we want to go back we should put a note out there to the Rinehart folks and tell them that we had a great time and the host was great and a lot of people were in attendance.
Ron
