I use the 'tube' on the hunting bow Kenny, so yeah, you're not alone...

And WD-40 does work, amazingly enough, as well as spit... Latex tubing tastes really bad...

Didn't mean to offend you. I thought you were kidding.

I have about 5 or 6 inches of slack on mine. You don't want it to get super tight when you pull your bow back, just enough to keep the peep straight and not tight enough it keeps coming of and smacking you in the face or eye.

Default peep sight tube

I am finally going back to a peep with rubber tube aligner after many years. The last one I used had a plastic disc that stuck to the limb. I am going to set this one up by tying it off to the cable. Can anyone help me or post a picture of the best way to tie that off? Knot? Put in through the center of the string strands then tie it off? How far above the peep, etc? Thanks.
