Default 60lb draw

looking at a fast bow but I just found out that it is a 50-60 lb draw.
Would you shy away from this for deer hunting and go find one with 70lb?
how will it change the fps?
thanks

If you found a nice fast bow and yet itís only a 60 max thatís plenty of poundage for deer hunting especially with todayís bows

Set er up and have fun with it.

Good luck this fall!

60lbs is more than enough I have seen a canadian moose go down with 47lbs from a single well placed arrow.

My current set up is 60 lbs and 29" DL. I am shooting 310 fps and KE of 81. That is more than enough for anything walking North America.

Get the 60.

yeah, my phoenix at 57# with a dirt-dull broadhead punched right through a deer last year. Unless you realy need the straight trajectory of have bad aim and need to blow through shoulders, 45# should be enough.
