Default Finally, I have trail cam pics!!

I've had my game cameras out for over a month now with nothing but pictures of cows and coons setup over a corn feeder, but never any deer. I guess the deer would rather eat the fresh soybean then the free corn I am giving them. Well, after we had some rain last week I went out and scouted for a couple of hours and found some trails next to some persimmon trees.

Got these pics from my Wildview so the quality is not so good. I'm going to try and switch this cam with my stealth cam so the quality will be a little better.

Hey there. It looks like you have at least one buck to let the air out of.

Default There not safe

I know that Bowtech primed and ready to smoke a doe or buck. Good luck buddy. Wildview are not bad cameras for the money.

Is that the .3 megapixel Wildview camera? I have a 2.0 and a 3.0 that I have set on low resolution and they take pretty good pics.

here's some pics from my 3.0

Honestly, I got it last year and can't remember. I think it's a 2.0, but whatever it is its set on the highest resolution.

The only problem with these pics is there are no trees in that area I can get a stand in, and I am worried that putting out a ground blind this late might spook them.

Thanks Chad, I hope so! Good luck to as well.

Oh, by the way, those Rock Solid Strings are great. I've put a couple hundred shots through them now and there is absolutely no serving wear or serving seperation like I was getting with the stock strings.

Dont be giving Richard all those good tips on strings and stuff. He shoot to good right now. I see how it is, you Bowtech shooters stick together. Your both great assets to archery and Oklahoma. Im proud of both you winning. But i sure dont like it when you beat me. Of course I can use Im old excuse. I have all kinds of excuses for not winning.

Chronographed the Bowtech 101st yesterday. With a 400 grain arrow at 70lbs I was shooting 306 fps, so I turned it all the way down to 60lbs since my shoulder is bothering me and now I am getting about 292 fps. I think that should be plenty fast enough.

You said the would rather eat the soybeans, but not the free corn? Do they pay for the soybean?!?!? And where are they keeping their money.

Very true! But at least they don't have to hop a fence to get the corn.

The weird part is I have put my trail cams up to catch them in the soybean and yet still no pics, that's part of why I have been so confused.

Thinking about putting a new ground blind out next weekend off the trail where I got the pics, but I hope that doesn't spook them becuase archery season opens up the weekend after next for me.

Good luck with that buck, if ya want him. I know that trail cams have added even more to the enjoyment of the sport to us. It's always exciting to head out and check the cams to see what we have "caught" every week. It's always cool to see what's going on out there and what deer you have wandering around. Of course, it's also depressing to see just how many of your bucks NEVER move during daylight.

Well, I've been out every weekend and the evening of opening day and still have yet to single deer. I know there out there though. Got a couple more pics of the buck I'm after. Looks like there was a buck out there on Oct. 6 in the daylight, but I can't tell if it's the same buck. At least he doesn't seem to mind the new ground blind I put up a couple weeks ago.
