Really nice Binos. Vortex Hurricanes
You dont find me in the woods without these by my side.
10X28 compact binos that are the best I have found. Chris handles the Vortex Binos in his online store.

They sure are nice DB, nice picture
My favorites’ for hunting are the 8x32 Fury’s awesome light and clarity for hunting with a nice size.
Before those I would use the 10x42 vipers –very sharp image and a bright picture and also a nice handy size.
Tough to beat Vortex for quality at a fair price and a VIP no questions asked warranty
jcmorgan31 also has these available for sale if I not mistaken

10X42 Sidewinders for me. I may try some compacts this year but it will be hard to give up the 42 lens.

I'm sure they are decent binos compared to lower end models but how do they really compare to top end glass like Swarovski EL's ??? I do agree with you though, I don't think a guy should head to the stand without binos.

My brother owns Swarovski and he has looked threw my Vortex Razors. He said those are darn close to his Swarovski. Darn sure not $700.00 in price.
We just compared my Vortex Hurrincanes to his Nikon Travelites. Hurrincanes are much better.

We have a good size Pro-Shop here in town and they were big in the Nikon and Swarovski line, the owner has is own personal pair of Swarovski 10x42 El’s a year or 2 old he did a comparison at a long distance as well as close focusing and could not tell the difference late one day with my 12x50 Razors, he’s always had the idea that there was nothing that would come close to Swarovski, that’s changed he now sells Swarovski and Vortex at his shop and is real happy with Vortex.

I am very impressed with Vortex too.
I have read alot about em and a great guy in Kansas from A/T let me play with his for a day so I got to compare em to my Steiners...ended up selling the Stieners and bought some Diamondback 10x42s and a lil more left over to get me a Nomad spotting scope.
