quiver or not to quiver

Just wondering do you leave your quiver on your bow when you get to your stand or do you take it off? I have always taken mine off even though it doesn't rattle when I shoot. What does everyone else do?

I always take it off so that I don't whack something with the arrows hanging down and make some noise while I am getting ready to shoot.

Yep, I always take it off for the same reason. I mounted a bracket on the side of my stand this last summer so can take the quiver off the bow and slide it right into the mount on my stand. I'm very pleased with how it has worked.

I have always removed mine, even though I've had no bad experiences with noise from it or anything. I just like to keep everything to a minimum in the stand. It just leaves less to watch-out for.

I attach a cat quiver mini to my pack and carry my arrows that way and never have them on my bow.

A quiver man. Now I take it off in the stand. Easier to deal with your bow with the added weight and arrows. Not so much the weight, but I have an extremely short axle-axle bow with a longer draw, so my arrows really stick out from the bow. With out the quiver, the bow is more manageble in a tighter stand set up. Plus, I always practice without the quiver, so why have it on when you go to shoot. Have noticed it just feels funny with the quiver on when I shoot.

I leave mine on. Haven't had any issues, so far. I've killed lots of deer with it on.

I have an attached quiver so it stays on. I like it that way. When I was 14 I had a nice buck come it which I missed...another story...I had my quiver hanging on a branch behind me and and it was quite an ordeal to reload with the buck below me offering another shot. I eventually did reload and missed again...rattled 14-year-old sounds like a good excuse!

Now with my attached quiver my arrows are ALWAYS right within my grasp.

If you want take it off, but practice with it off so things dont change when you get to the stand. be sure its secure and within easy acess so you can grab a second arrow if you have to. practice how you will shoot. Mine has never bothered me so i leave it on.

take it off and put it in a kwikee kwiver bracket w/in close reach.

It comes off. If you hunt in windy conditions you'll see why.

I use a Quickee and take it off. I have second quiver mounts screwed to my semi-perm stand and my climber.

I keep mine on it's too awkward for me to fiddle around if I need another arrow.When I sight in my bow for hunting I keep the quiver on I get no noise from it.

I take it off when in the blind or tree stand, but I do practice with it on and off. You never knwo when you may find somting to shoot at when walking to the stand

I take mine off as well. I don't practice with it on so I take it off and hang it on the tree just in case I need another shot or drop the one I have out for my Barney bullett. Oh and I just love when I drop the darn thing to.
