Excel workbook to keep/track scores NFAA Indoor
To keep my wife's scores logged so we can track/analyze her scores during the current 5 week tournament, I've searched high and low to find an existing spreadsheet to keep score for NFAA blue and white 5-spot or single-spot targets. After no joy, I just slapped together a quick excel workbook ....
It works OK but I have not figured out how to count X's the way they are recorded on the score sheets.
This MUST already exist somewhere, no?Either I'm not searching by the right keywords, or I'm nuttier than squirrel p00p.
If I can't find a workbook already created or figure out how to interpret an "X" as a "5" and add it to the X column, I'll need to sit down and write an SQL application to do it, but I really done want to invest that much effort.
I'm also thinking this would greatly ease the administrative load on the organizers of the events to compute scoring and rankings etc...

Anybody want to Beta Test it?
Took me a while to figure out the formula to deal with the "X" score but I got it nailed down... If anybody wants to play with the spreadsheet PM me and I'll send it to you. I can't attach a .xls file here.

I can't remember where I seen them but someone was selling archery logbooks either here or on AT. They looked very nice. Hope you find some.

Show off!
It took me two steps to do it:
1 )Test for value entered for X and if X assign value of 5, otherwise use the value entered : =IF(C9="X",5,IF(C9=" ",0,C9))
2)Give each X a "1" value =IF(C9="X",1,0) then sum
