Little buck came in chasing a group of 6 does/fawns all over me. This doe stopped, giving me a steep quartering away shot that I just couldn't resist. She went about 20 yards and fell over. The other deer had no idea what happened and the little buck continued chasing the other does around. Finally the went out of sight after about 30 minutes.
I am stuck at work today. But man would I love to be back in my stand. The bucks are just now starting to act interested where I hunt. I wait all year for November. I will be back in the stand first thing Monday morning.
Nice blood you got there and nice shot placement...I bet that was a nasty field dress!!!
What kind of Broad Head did you hit her with?
Field dressing wasn't too bad. No guts or stomach punctured (luckily). Hit her with a 125 grain Muzzy 3 blade. Tons of blood. I could see it pouring out of her shoulder as she ran the 20 yards.
You know you put the smack on a Deer when you see it pouring out like that...I love it when that happens...I was wanting to get out this morning and hunt but my little boy was up all night sick...I am getting out this evening for sure...
