That's My Girl!
Here are some pictures of my 8 Year old daughter at the range today....
She was shooting a "new" (different) bow and having a devil of a time getting it tuned and adjusted to her she couldn't even get 3 out of 5 shots on the paper After, after much fiddling with the bow, the guys decided to try a somewhat "different" anchor-point.
(See first image below.)
But she almost instantly tightened up her groups:
(See second image below.)
Okay, smarty-pants, lets put a target up there and see how you do!
(See third image below.)
Okay little miss big stuff... Lets get you a smaller target, and see how you do.
(See fourth image below.)

Cool, except on my wallet! These kids (and Mom) are bleeding me dry.
She has 5, yes FIVE, "on-official Coaches". Nobody will "take her on" Officially till she turns 9. They say it's some NFAA "rule", but that there is nothing agianst the rules of them "un-officially helping her out"
They are all telling me she has unlimited potential and can achieve great things, if she sticks with it.
Folks are already talking about her to going to Regionals and possibly Nationals next year.
Oh, bother!

I think it is imperative that you remove the bow from her hands immediately!!! As male archers we must do all that we can to preserve our egos and false sense of superiority!! Just kidding! I think that is incredible and wish more families would engage in family time like that.

They kids are a bit TOO occupied. Straight from school to Tae Kwon Do, then to the range, then home for dinner and homework then to bed... If they are lucky there is a few minutes int ehre for TV and internet.

I wish I could do so good one day
Wow. Your girl is a ninja.
I suggest you buy her what she asks for chrismas.
Otherwise she will break santa's arm if she meets him at the mall .
Congratulations

Your just getting started to an “awesome future”, and you think your wallet getting hit now wait till the kids are older and shooting state, sectionals and nationals, but you will love every moment of it.
Both of our kids started very young and have shattered their share of state and national records. And both have ranked number 1 in the nation 1 or more times and Jessica took worlds last year. Now Dustin is in his 3rd year of college and has backed off of archery some because of heavy school studies and Jessica is now I her first year of college but plans on shooting yet.
We really miss the kids not being around and I think a lot of it is do to being so active in a sport as a family so I wish you the best!!!!
Have an awesome future in archery and Good Luck!

Both my dughters and I have HHA Sliders on ALL our bows.
Mrs.Squid is the exception w/ her SureLoc Supreme but she still uses an HHA housing on her Compound bow... (Even though she has jumped ship to the freestyle Recurve camp on us.)
