hello fellas.i just got a trophy taker pronghorn fall away rest and want to install it on my hoyt katera.what do all of you use to silence/quiet the launcher arm from slapping down on the aluminum bow?does hoyt still offer the fitted, to each particular bow, camo fleece?i want to use something that will not peel the paint with it off if i so choose to take it off.i know not to use alcohol to take the adhesive goo off.what could i use to get the adhesive off w/o affecting my camo finish?

you can find it in the shoe dept. - use it on the bottom side of the arrow rest arm

Good advice here if ya put it on the launcher arm it won't damage your camo later. actually they wrapped my entire launcher forks so you don't get that dragging sound from the arrow sliding across it.

same problems
so im shooting the x cutters and when setting up the rest could not get the arrow centered between the whole in the risor because the prong was hitting the shelve... so you are just letting it hit the shelf or do you have it back do you have a pic i can see, so i know what to do.

I am kind of confused with your post. Are you refering to arrow not being centered with the hole your rest bolts into? If so is it high or low?
My launcher in the down postion does hit the shelf but does not hit the side of the riser...

ya sorry, broke my foot so have been on some sic pain killers
but ya the arrow is bottom of the arrow lines up with the center of the how i was guessing the arrow was suppost to be in the centered in the rest whole.. so to be able to do that the prong would be laying in the middle on the shelf when at rest.. is that ok

The launcher should be laying as flat on the shelf at rest as possible. Can you move the rest back? A pic would help us if you could post one...

Busty1er- are you setting up the Pronghorn or the shakey hunter? I had problems with the shakey lancher being to wide and hitting my sight window, So I just took it off and took a grinder to it. NOT saying you should do this, Pics would be great
