Chris, I had heard a rumor that the Rage head was going to incorporate a rubber band to keep the blades from opening in the quiver. Did you see anything on this?

How about the new Vaportrail launcher? Any pictures?

Deer cooler was sweet. They said with ice packed in the deers cavity, you can keep it for 3 days in 85+ degree weather. They temperature probed the deer on the third day and it was under 40 degrees.

New Tec target, similar to the Spyderweb.

Oh and of course the bowturbow. I tested this and the bow jumped about 18 fps. Now, I did notice the weight went up and mentioned it. He said yes, slightly about 2-3 lbs. Well, 2-3lbs doesn't equal 18fps.

I wanted a scale and a draw check arrow but they didn't have that in the booth. I'll let someone else get the first one of these before I jump on this.

Some good looking trophy ridge products. The prices of the biscuits are up quite a bit though.

Trophy ridge rest and Flyer for the PSE Omen and picts of the new PSE Crossbow.

Got a chance to shoot this crossbow too today. Very smooth shooter and reasonably quiet for a crossbow. However, they did have light limbs on it because they said the target would not stop it with the regular limbs.

The AR15 receiver system is really cool and very quick to change over from crossbow to gun and back.

PSE Omen bow. I haven't shot it yet but it pulls HARD right at the end of the draw. Will shoot it tomorrow.

Truglo Power Dot sight. Pretty cool single pin movable sight. This might be pretty interesting for indoor shooting as well.

Last pic is the NAP Blood Runner broadhead. Flys in the close fix blade position and on impact it pushes the tip in and opens the blades even further.

These are the "only" back tension releases. Very cool adjustments here. You can change the timing and it doesn't change the angle of the release in your hand. Never seen anything like this in a hinge before.

Stay tuned boys and girls. Mark my words, the Attraction is going to be a hot, hot, hot seller. Will not start shipping for a month or so.

Mathews quiver.

Giant demo vane from the Firenock guys. Aerovane example. Notice the groove. This guys high tech let me tell you. I got a sample pack to fletch some vanes and do some testing.

Get this, it's based on an owls wing. It has an aerofoil on it. It's not a flat vane, pretty wild stuff. Supposed to spin really fast and you fletch it straight.

Update on the Air Raid. I shot this bow some more today. This bow is sweet. It reminds me a lot like the old tribute. Zero noise and hand shock and I mean zero.

Draw is pretty good. Not like an airborne but not quiet as smooth as the old tribute. Kind of in between.

For those that like the smooth shooting of the center pivot bows but can't get past the look, this is the bow for you.

The yoke system eliminates any cam lean.

Is the Carter RX more solid like the 2-shot? What's different from the quickie?

Anything new from Lone Wolf at all?

Chris, I've said all along that Bow Turbo thing would increase Draw Weight!! Innovation??

I've also heard from several sources that again this year the BowTech booth is the place to be, and the busiest booth at the show!

They did admit later that there was a small increase, at least Alligood did.

Something is happening if you can place it in the same spot as the previous slide and gain 15+fps with only <2lbs increase in DW.

Be interesting to see once it gets into a lot of people's hand and they wring them out.

Something is happening if you can place it in the same spot as the previous slide and gain 15+fps with only <2lbs increase in DW.

Be interesting to see once it gets into a lot of people's hand and they wring them out.
What playing I've done if you attach the thing where the cable slide is at rest you are going to pick up more than 2#.

You're right it will be interesting.

Default Vaportrail launchers

I don't have pictures but Vaportrail had 3 new style launchers. One just like standard except it has two little fingers to hold your arrow in place until the rest comes up.

The other is a wide launcher with a slot down the middle and the last is the narrow target style launcher. All looked very nice. They will be available for sale individually.
