Ok..here is the story behind the apple!!

On Saturday morning Kurt and I were walking around and I grab an apple out of a barrell at one of the booths... well I planned on eating it, but needed to wash it first... well in the mean time, we stop to meet David Blanchard, Nick, T-Bone and Michael Waddell... when I get up there, I ask David if he would like to sign my apple, kidding of course and he took it out of my hand... I told him I was joking that I planned on eating it and he said "no I really want to sign it!!" So he did and he passed it down the line... well by the time it got to Michael, I said to him, "I bet you've never signed an apple before" and he just laughed real big and said "no, but I have signed Apple Bottom Jeans"...

It was real funny...so if anyone knows how to perserve and apple, let me know!!

Here are some pics!

Tim,

It was great to meet you as well. Tiff and I had a great time and enjoyed meeting you spending time at the show. The Vortex booth was always busy and many people were asking about the products on the showroom floor.

Columbus will be a great time next year, but I am SURE that we will see you in Paris in a few months.

Yeah, if you're going to be at the shop, I'll come out. I need to do some shooting anyway. I'm feeling a bit rusty.

Has there been any testing of the Aerovane II against Blazers? When will they be available? I'd really like to fletch a few up and see for myself.

I would high recommended you not to try it if you are a casual shooter. You may need new arrows, and tune for days before it will shot right. If you shoot over 300 fps, the gyro effect given by Aerovane II will make your head spin as all of a sudden you need to shot a full spine size lower before it even launch right. Then you may notice that it flew and hit as high as 19" on the target then other at 55 yards with less than 2.5% loss in KE, which may sounded like a lie until you see it yourself with your own eye.

I have 5000 pack coming by the 25, but over half is already spoken for. I highly suggested you try Aerovane to start with to ease into Aerovane II. You need new fletching tools too. It is not an easy deal, but so far for a few who are able to make it work, 40 yard one pin is now not totally out of reach any more. It will be on shop.firenock.com by the 25th of this month for $10.95 for 18, and only in white as of now.
