Default Do it yourself Double Bow Case!!

I have a 41" axle to axle bow and was needing a double bow case. The only problem was most bow cases either didn't fit a bow that long or were $200+. I really didn't want to drop the $200, but was I willing to since if I had to since I have a lot invested in bows. But instead I took my old Plano Protector II series bow case and modified it. I called plano and got the spare parts for free, and the extra foam pad for $10. Now I have a hard shell double bow case that I can take to shoots and not have to worry about anything happening to my bows. I think I bought the case originally for $26, plus the extra foam for $10 and now I have a hardshell double bow case for under $40.

Nice job.............i just got a SKB last week from a buddy and I can tell you I don't think I will ever own another case. As much as I have invested in bows, target sights, rests, arrows, release, binos, and everything else I consider the SKB well worth the money. I can keep all my stuff in that one case.

Default One word

Brownell drop the $200.00

It will cary your two bows/arrows and most everthing else. Airline aproved.

Best case on the market.

Just kidding. Looks good Richard.

That's what I will eventually get. Just couldn't get one in time for Florida, and after entry fees and travel cost it will have to wait until next month. Those Brownell cases sure our sweet. I figure this will work as long as I drive. Don't think I would trust the airlines with it.
